4 Super-Easy DIY Face Masks for Bright, Glowing Skin

If you are looking to give your skin some TLC, but can't bring yourself to splurge your paycheck on a fancy treatment... your kitchen is the best place to make your ultra rewarding at home treatment your skin will love! We have curated six mask recipes for you that both food - and skincare experts will approve.



Organic Banana Face Mask



"This tropical face mask will give your skin such a health, natural-looking glow, and it's for all skin types," says Sharōn Ronen L.E., the founder and owner of Skin Haven Spa Studio & WellSpa in Australia.

1. Mash one-half of a banana in a bowl.

2. Mix in a tablespoon of orange juice and a tablespoon of honey.

3. Apply the mask to your face (lumps are totally fine!) and keep the mixture on for 15 minutes.

4. Rinse with lukewarm water and then moisturize.



Moisturizing Aloe Vera Mask for Dehydrated Skin



The aloe plant’s fleshy leaves contain a gel that is packed with nutrients, active enzymes, vitamins, minerals, anti-inflammatory benefits and amino acids.

¼ mashed avocado

1 tablespoon aloe vera gel

1 tablespoon oats

Combine mashed avocado with aloe and oats. Apply on your face and leave on for 10-15 minutes before rinsing with warm water. As you remove, you can gently massage the mask into your skin for a little exfoliation.



Hydrating Face Mask For Oily Skin



Rich in vitamin C, strawberries can help fight oily skin, as well as nourish and revitalize overall skin tone. They’re helpful in lightening blemishes and acne scars.

½ cup plain culina yogurt (dairy free & plant based)

Blend ingredients well and apply mixture to face. You can leave on for up to 20 minutes before rinsing off.



Aloe Vera Mask for Acne Prone Skin



The aloe and cucumber will soothe inflamed skin while the cucumber seeds themselves are rich in potassium and vitamin E, which help reduce blemishes.

4 tablespoons aloe vera gel

2 drops tea tree oil

1/2 peeled cucumber

Blend all ingredients well and apply to face with fingertips or facial brush. Leave on for 10-15 minutes.



Hydrating Face Mask For Sensitive Skin



Lemon provides antibacterial benefits that can help tame breakouts—and it also serves as a natural skin brightener and lightener. This mixture provides benefits your skin will love!

1 tablespoon lemon juice

3 tablespoons ripple milk (plant based milk)

¼ tablespoon turmeric

Mix ingredients in a bowl slowly. Apply mixture to face and leave on for 10-20 minutes before rinsing off to achieve clear feeling and looking skin.
